Yellow peaches boost villagers’ income

The yellow peach planting base of Shanwan Planting and Breeding Professional Cooperative of Hexi Town, Jishou City opened to the public on July 27. Hexi Town has multiple large-scale yellow peach growers, including Shanwan Planting and Breeding Professional Cooperative, Shuiwen Fruit and Wood Farm, Xianbao Family Farm. It has more than 500 mu (about 33.33 hectares) of yellow peaches, with rich varieties and excellent quality, which meet market demand, and help local villagers increase income. The Hexi Town government has taken a series of measures such as formulating preferential policies, strengthening technical training, and expanding sales channels to provide strong guarantees for the development of characteristic agricultural industries such as yellow peaches.
